I could live off this place. Best Thai food I have ever had. I love spice and they have plenty of it. For those that do can't stand the heat, fear not because they can vary the spiciness with ease. They do take out which is convenient and the inside of the restaurant is nice and is never too crowded. Parking is on the street which isn't too big of a deal since like I said it doesn't get too crowded inside.

Friendly Thai is amazing. The food was incredible and the owner is so sweet and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m making it a priority to stop here when we pass through the area again! I would recommend calling ahead if you’re going with a large party.

Under new management, but same great taste. I'm from California, where Thai food is a dime a dozen. This spot, I have returned to everytime I am here in Groton visiting. When we land, to the day of our flight - always a must to visit for lunch. EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING, is good. You cannot go wrong with anything from the menu. Fried Calamari is so good, fresh, not stringy. The curries are real flavorful. Satays are always awesome. They are very accomodating with the spice levels too, so pick your battles! On weekdays, there are tons of people ordering to-go, as well as the General Dynamics facility - so you know I'm not the only one who loves this place. TRUST, this is a good Thai spot. Dont forget that Thai tea with boba! Shout out to Toon (forgive me, I probably spelled her name wrong) for always taking care of us whenever we visit!

It was my first time here today and it was even better than I hoped! I got Thai Tea, Papaya Salad and Taro Sticky Rice to try this time. I’m excited to come back and try more. The flavor is authentic and clean and fresh. I’m so glad I stopped in today. The owner is very friendly and it’s a very beautiful little spot. The gentleman making the drinks was very kind as well!

I can’t believe this hidden gem has been just a few blocks from my place, and right across the street from my hair salon, and I had never stepped foot inside until my son asked for Thai food. I mentioned there was a spot nearby, and I’m so glad we finally gave it a try. Honestly, it’s a shame I waited this long. I’ve been missing out on amazing Thai food right next door! I ordered online and picked up in person. The service was excellent, the lady at the restaurant was so friendly and welcoming. The food was AMAZING!! I ordered the pork steamed dumplings, deep fried veggie spring rolls, spicy basil noodle dinner, and a Thai iced tea, everything was sooo delicious. I’m definitely going back to try more items on the menu. Looks can be deceiving, because from the outside, you’d never guess how good this place really is!

Nice home made style Thai restaurant. Staffs are very kind and professional. Prices are competitive and portions are generous. It has a parking lot in rear. Dishes look more authentic and home-made style. It is located in the middle of nowhere, but it gave me a experience as a spot in SOHO. Good place for casual dining.

Incredible authentic thai tucked away in a residential street. They've seemingly covered the backyard in gravel to make a charming parking lot and converted the first floor into a bar and restaurant with effortless charm and atmosphere. The service is excellent despite a skeleton crew, and the food is perfectly authentic and delicious.

Friendly: Check, Delicious Food: Check, Wok Hay: Check My wife and I are traveling from out of town. As soon as we walked into Friendly Thai Restaurant, we were greeted with great hospitality. Once we were seated, we ordered the Pad See Ew, and I had a custom Tom Yum Noodle Soup with Pork. I was delighted the server was able to accommodate my craving for Tom Yum soup with rice noodles even though it was not available on the menu. As soon as the food arrived, I tasted the broth and felt all warm and fuzzy. I told my wife this place was legit. You can taste the wok hay (breath of the wok) from the Pad See Ew and was not overly sweet and that appeased us. The food was so delicious, we practically scarfed everything down and left no evidence behind. This place is quite the hidden gem. We'll definitely come back and visit whenever we're in town. Highly recommended.
